The new Triumph Tiger Explorer has been launched in India at Rs 18.75 lakhs (ex-showroom). The flagship model in Triumph’s Tiger range of adventure bikes, the Tiger Explorer is a rival to the Ducati Multistrada Enduro, Aprilia Caponord 1200 Rally and the BMW R1200 GS. For 2017, Triumph has updated the Tiger Explorer with a few cosmetic changes and a BS IV compliant engine. Bajaj Auto reports quarterly sales drop of 22.3 per cent

Bajaj Auto has reported a 22.3 per cent drop in domestic sales for two-wheelers in the first quarter of FY2017. The manufacturer sold 4,26,52 units from April-June 2017 as compared to 5,48,880 units it sold in the same time last year. The manufacturer attributes the decline in sales to the automotive industry’s move from BS-III to BS-IV emission norms.
